The University of Auckland is offering its Jones Lang LaSalle Property Scholarship for international students that wish to study at their educational center in New Zealand business related studies. With one (1) award offered, it offers a NZD $5.000 per annum and its application deadline is due March 31, 2016.
About the scholarship
The Scholarship was established in 2013 and is funded by Jones Lang LaSalle a leading specialist firm of real estate services.
The main purpose of the Scholarship is to encourage and reward excellence in the study of property, property management and valuation and to support those seeking to complete a degree directly associated with the property industry.
Selection criteria
The basis of selection will be academic merit as determined by academic results achieved in Year 1 for the Bachelor of Property or Bachelor of Property Conjoint degree; communication and interpersonal skills, community involvement and potential to succeed in the property profession.
Number of awards offered
A total of one (1) award is offered annually.
Value
Up to $5,000 pa

Scholarship applications will usually open around 6 weeks before the closing date. It is recommended for applicants to check the form early for any request sections, in case a referee or supervisor is required to support their application and to familiarise themselves with the form. Apart from any sections that are sent to a referee to endorse, they can go in to their form and amend their answers for all other sections up to the closing date. All sections (including any request sections) must be submitted by the closing date, which is midnight on the specified date (unless stated otherwise). It is recommended to not have two different scholarship applications open within the same browser.
Outcomes are determined by a selection committee and are usually notified around six weeks after the closing date.
